Hi,
Just wondering if most people put some lash coating sealant on their clients lashes at the end of the treatment? Do you sell many of them? Wonder if it's worth stocking a few for when I start charging people for treatments.
Thanx

Yes
I seal the lashes twice at the end of the treatment and I'm going to get the retail ones (they look like a clear mascara) which rrp is around £15 as most of my clients said they'd be interested.

Hi
I always use the sealant at the end of the treatment it adds a nice glossy finish and loads of clients end up buying some to use at home.

Yes I put lash coating sealant on at the end of the treatment.

I also sell the lash coating sealant as part of the aftercare procedure. All my clients have purchased the sealant to apply daily. I was trained with Nouveau and their aftercare leaflet has this instruction.

thanks, looks like I should invest in a few..

Ditto that

I include a sealer in the price of a full set so everyone gets one. I find this way they get much longer out of the extensions. I use Noveau as well and also stock the mascara which sells well.

That's a great idea with the sealer, I tell my students to try this too.

I use Flirties lashes and I would say that most clients who are spending out on a set of lashes want a sealant and mascara. Its definately worth keeping a small stock of each.

Hi all,

I trained with AH Francis, I am using their glue, do you think any make of sealer would be good? Or might it have a bad reaction with the bond?

The AH Francis one is really expensive £100 incl VAT for 8 (so I would have to retail these at least £15 each), Or £17.50 for 1 delivered.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend good sealers that I can use and also retail that would work with the problend glue I use. Any help would be really appreciated!!

I have experimented with and without lash sealant and honestly didn't find any difference.

I no longer use or retail it

I trained with Lash FX, and never said anything about a sealer. I do know most people apply it after so i thought about doing this also. I'm still in training, not getting a full set just yet but I do my sisters every 2 weeks & she still has a fair amount of lashes on. Maybe ill get some & see if it makes any difference:) xx

I personally always apply Finishing Glaze (lash perfect sealer) and always recommend them to my clients who without exception have always purchased one and also 2nd and 3rd going forward.

Most of them use it in place of mascara when on holiday/ casual days, I feel it does aid the longevity of the lashes and also encourages ladies to take better care of their lashes.

Hi, does it make them darker or just more noticeable. I've never used it so wouldn't know. What is the best sealant or are they all similar? x

I use the lash perfect sealer which is like a clear mascara, so when clients use it is has the double benefit of them combing their lashes gently every day therefore helping to straighten out any wonky ones in the morning, I also find my cients are happy to just use this day to day saving full mascara for just their bottom lashes and on special evenings out which in turn I think helps the longevity.

The lash perfect sealer also helps to condition the natural lashes coming through so aids in keeping natural lashes healthy.

Well I'm definitely going to get this. Thank you:) xx

i use flirties sealent and its great for retail. i find clients are more likely to buy it when you endorse it. more of my clients are getting more into following correct aftercare. This is great for those clients that fiddle more or tend to be pickers! xoxo

I've found that applying sealant doesn't make any difference to the longevity of the lashes.
I used to use it when I first trained and I found that it actually dulled the lashes.
I've not used it for almost 3 years and the returns were no different.
