Hiya
Im currently at college doing beauty specialist level 2 course, just a simple question as to why we must get client to remove contact lens before perm, tint etc?
Thanks in advance.

Think about what would happen if you got tint or perm solution in their eye and they had a contact lens in...plus the fact that they need to have their eye closed and it is not usually recommended to sleep with most contacts in. If you think about this question it's quite easy to work it out, but maybe that's because my fiance wears contacts!

Plus the fact that the sticky roller "lifts" a little bit the eye lid and that might cause the lens to "fold" and be removed off its place when the client blinks.

Hi
the damage could be very serious if the tint or lotion got on the lens as you dont know what companys use to make there lens, the could melt onto the eye for example... hth x

Thanks so much for taking the time to help me!!
xxx Laura xxxx
