Eyelash Perming and Tinting on Teenager

Hi everyone,

I really enjoy reading this forum, very helpful and informative.

I also got a question, can anyone advise whether it will be safe to do eyelash perming and tinting on 15years old. Please advise, any comment will be appreciated.

You will need the written consent from a parent and they will need to be present during the treatment too. Providing a 24 hour sensitivity test for both the tint and perm solution is normal it should be fine. You can always give your insurers a call though just to check.

Thanks Debs. I am going to do on my friend's sister for free and to practice on my speed, just wonder will it be safe for the teenager. Not doing on any client.

When i did my training for eyebrow and lash tints i used my then 15 year old daughter as a model. The other lady who did the training with me had her 12 year old niece as a model. They never had a patch test 24 hours before-quite scary really!
