Hi new to all this, site and nails actually. Just enrolled on a course so very excited but getting confused. Thought the choice i had was between training in acrylic or gel, now allsorts i bouncing back and forward about Creative, EzFlow etc.

The course i'm signed up for is EzFlow Acrylic with a view to do Gel later, can anyone tell me anything about it please? Worried now if i've picked the right course.

I use ezflow acrylic and gel and I love it. The courses are really good and the people who do them are really friendly and helpful. Do you know who you are doing your training with. xxx

Thanks makes me feel better. Its The Nail Academy in Camberley, Surrey. Lady there i've spoken to on the phone sounds lovely. Just a friend of mine said (after i'd booked!!!) oh you wanna make sure it Creative products, then thought i'd made a boo boo.

Course doesn't start for a couple of weeks, getting excited now!

I have trained with Ezflow and I am sure you will love it, I was going to ask who you were training with too but as Anne knows my geography isn't good to try and say who it would be

Had a look on the website a lady called Angela Geraerts runs the academy. And fiftrix is near london. xxxx

The Nail Academy isnt an official EzFlow run course but Im guessing you will be using EzFlow products as Angela has taken a conversion class with me in the past

Sorry but is she an official EzFlow Educator????

That would be a no then.

I don't know what certificate would be issued after this course, but as Jess said it would not be an EzFlow one.
I don't know this Nail Academy, but Donna Marie should check with them about her qualification and that it is accredted so she can get insurance after completeing the course.
I don't think there is any need to panic though, just get this checked out.

Good luck.

Hi everyone, I live in Spain and do mobile. I trained with an EZFlow educator at a school in Marbella. I love the products. I have found that all the Educators are very good that I have talked to. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I did both Acrylic and Gel on the course with all the information on sterilisation, client questionnaires etc. Got EZFlow certificates for both Acrylic and Gel and they are recognised in Spain and also England. So dont panic Donna, you will be just fine. I think that you will find that all techs that have trained with Creative like their products and will stick with them. You will be the same with EZFlow.

Thanks for all your input, yes it is Angela, i had an email from her today that said she uses Ezflow and Creative and asked which i wanted to do, which has really confused me now. It says on their website that the certificate you get is insurance approved. Its a bigger mine field than i first realised, thought i could just be trained and once qualified i would use whichever products i wanted!!

Hi Donna - welcome to the site by the way hunny!

I f I could throw in my 2 penneth - as a Creative & EzFlow trained tech.....

I have no doubt that your choice of training is very credible, however, if you contacted Sweet Squared on 0845 210 6060 (for Creative CND) they would advise you of the local CND Creative Official Academy in your area - likewise with EzFlow - if you contacted 'Sparklepink' on here aka Jess (above this post on this thread)- she will advise you of your nearest EzFlow Official training venue. Both companies offer Liquid & powder acrylics & Gel courses.
I went direct through CND & EzFlow for my training, having been trained by a very poor trainer initially ( & unknown by me at the time) in the London area. That makes me very wary of what I'm spending my money on.

it can only be used for Gel nails and she also uses acrylic ...being organic im against this.
,

L+P is acrylic and gel is acrylic. They are both the same.

As Gigi has said lots of time everything around us is "organic", but in a different way from what you mean. It won't matter which a nail tech uses, neither is "organic" in the way you mean hun. The only difference is that gel doesn't have an odour when you are working with it.

hth xx

how does this girl get her kits for her students then if shes not an educator for either company?
