Fabric????

Today I have been very very lucky, lol. I have inherited from a friend a load of cnd products, heaps of coloured acrylics (about 15 pots mosiacs, shimmers bolds) also a huge pot off intense pink powder ( the biggest one they do) loads and loads of solar oil, kanga boards, gels and millions off polishes, all hardly used, most unopened. She is emigrating and just gave them to me, whoo.

Any way in my little treasure chest there was a product called 'Fabric # ' by a company called designer nails and it says #4 blast??? does anyone have any idea what this is for, or does? I will ask her tomorrow only she out tonight, and I thought id ask my fellow geeks if they knew as it is the only thing in there I dont have a clue what it is lol haha. Thanks kate

Fabric# was the Designer Nails fibreglass and silk system, designed by Gigi Rouse. Blast was (if my slightly jaded memory serves me right) the spray on activator for the building layers.

Sadly it is no more....I personally think it was one of the best on the market due to the a/ differing viscosity of resins, allowing you to build as much or as littel as needed, and b/ its seemingly better flexibility than I've come across in a lot of other systems.

Here is a tutorial that went with it......you can still learn soooo much about a fibreglass/silk system just from this....it can be a bit of a lost art for new techs nowadays. but there's some so 'refined' about fibreglass, and I use it a lot for natural nail repairs, and the even the occasional full set still.
