Hi geeks,

I have had a booking for bridal makeup and part of my package is a facial! I was wondering how long before the day I should do this? Is 24 or 48 hours long enough or should it be longer?

Thanks

Em :)

Do the makeup 24 hrs after a facial, that shld be plenty time, thats the aftercare i give to my clients xxxx

I think it depends on the type of facial included with the package and the clients skin in general. If it is a prescriptive facial to correct or help a specific problem, or if the client is known to have sensitive skin, then I would leave a minimum of 48 to 72 hours before the makeup is due to avoid any flare up eg. pustules etc... on her wedding day.

If it is simply a pampering treatment facial and the client has a non reactive skin, then 24 hours should be fine.
