What do you use to successfully get rid of broken capilliaries on the face, how successful is it and how many sessions does it take?

I use diathermy for red veins and other skin blemishes. It depends on how much you have to treat. Sessions are usually placed 2 weeks apart. I see complete removal or a lessening of the condition but it also depends on the client - hereditary factors, incorrect/rough cleansing techniques, working conditions etc,etc and of course operator skill.

Thanks for this, so you won't see removal in one session then? Does it require the skin to be pierced or can you use it topically, there is a machine out there that uses a probe that you place on the skin but it is quite expensive I've heard. I have a little vascular lesion around my nose which appeared after another facial treatment and this is one area that I used to treat years ago but no longer offer this. Just wondering if I had it done myself and saw an improvement I may look into getting someone in to offer it to my clients. x

Yes you can see complete removal in one session for a small blemish/blemishes. Red vein treatment is usually carried out in 15min sessions but some will need more than this. The offending capillaries are 'tapped' with the needle so the skin is pierced. It can be carried out with an ordinary electrolysis machine. There is no need to buy an expensive V wave machine as it is the same technique using high frequency current. Insurance in gained by gaining a specialist certificate as long as you have an electrolysis qualification.:)

Thank you you're a star :)
