Proper skin analysis to identify the clients concerns and decide your own treatment plan.

Warm clean towels and covers, an electric blanket really helps to make it toasty. Warm mitts to remove products.

Only chatting to the client during the analysis and description of what you are going to do to them, then telling them you will let them relax and not talk unless you are spoken to.

Lots of massage- I do a 15minute head massage during the exfoliating peel stage, 20 minutes of face massage and 20 minutes of neck and shoulders massage while the mask is on.

Aftercare advise and product recommendation.

I want to book in with you!

I often massage the feet while the mask is on.

Also, when you have lost contact (physical contact) with the client, I think it's important to let them know when you are about to touch them again, otherwise it could surprise them, make them jump a bit. I do this by gently touching (everso gently pressing) the temples, then continue.

Short nails are good too.

And nice relaxing music.

I use steam towels to remove all my products and start by wiping the hands and then feet over with a nice warm steam towel and couple of drops of a relaxing blend on my towel which my clients seem to love then i wrap them in a sheet and but a blancket over them. I also let my clients chews what type of music they want to listen to while having a treatment. I also ask them if they want a massage or want to be left to relax while the mask is on so they are in controll of what they are getting. I don't talk to them at all once I have started treatment, and never mention products untill they come out the treatment then I recommened products.

If you've got a hot towel cabbie, when you know your client is waiting, get the toner pads ready and covered in toner, then place on the top of the cabbie. Then when you tone, your pads will be warm and not freezing cold. Of course this is only really good in chilli or normal weather, I wouldn't be warming them in the scorching heat haha! Same goes for eye make-up removing. I'l second the lots of massage, and also, make sure you use enough product. I've had a lot of clients mention they like the amount of product i use as so many people are watching pennies and using the bare miniumum. Use plenty of cleanser and just more than enough oil/cream for massage. Don't let your hands start to stick with lack of oil/cream. Also - don't skimp on time. :)

I use a warmed wheatie bag for their feet.

Again I agree with plenty of massage - I couldnt believe it when a client came to me for the 1st time (she said she'd had loads of facials before) and was amazed that I did decollete & face massage plus hand & arm massage whilst the mask was on. She said she'd never had any massage before

I just started to incorporate a 5/10 min head massage at the start - its a great way to get them to relax immediately.

I use small flannels to pat down the face after applying the toner or removing products (ie: exfoliator), I hated it when I was training that we had to use tissues.

I put a couple of drops of lavender oil (if its OK with the client) into my facial steamer.
