Some people have put down they add hot mitts to a facial.
To me, hot mitts are used in luxury manicures - are you talking of the same hot mitts?

No, not the same hot mits at all!

These are toweling mitts that are dampened and put into a towel cabby.
You put them on your hands to remove product, like you would a steam towel.

For facials I have the following
Hot towels
Hot or cold eye mask ( in fridge for cold or hot water for hot
I don't have music on at all and clients find this really relaxing
Candles and fairy lights
Fluffy towel on couch and another to wrap round them
I have a changing room with robe for them to get changed
I have a dressing table for them for after ( yes I know we shouldn't but if clients really want to tidy themselves up after or put make up then!!)
Oil burners with different oils depending on the treatment or client mood

For all nail treatments a hand and arm massage after , just a quick one, and change the handcream to the season

Always have chocolate/ vanilla burning in the burners including the toilet!!

For pedicures they can have hot or cold eye mask, a hot chocolate, they sit in a wing backed armchair with a fluffy blanket in case they get cold!! Clients comment how comfy it is

I make a fruit skewer and a glass of water on a tray at the end for clients when seating up and leave them to enjoy and 'come round'!

I use a laser pod in my treatment room. It creates a nice display on the ceiling that clients love to watch.

you can keep a dry towel in the caddy and place around the clients head (once excess heat has left)after doing a hot oil scalp massage - its fab!
