Hello,
I have been running my business for the last 4 1/2 yrs and have been offering 'Salon Systems Chi' as my facial range!!! I am sure that many of you will remember this from college training days! I have used this from when I started up my business and my current clients are quite happy with my facials and the range I use and in fact always comment on the lovely smells and love the treatment oils.

However I know that it isn't the most expensive range out there and some people would rather go for a Clarins, Decleor or Dermalogica facial although as I said before my clients are quite happy and would rather pay a lower and more affordable price for what I offer. I was wondering if anybody else uses salon systems Chi out there??????!!!! They have just brought out a thai range skin therapy range following the thai mani/pedi range.

Are there any other facial ranges people use that are cheaper than the big brands that they can recommend? what prices do you charge??!

I am really looking into this at the moment so any comments will be much appreciated!!!

Thank you, Emma xxx

Theres loads of great skin care ranges with opening orders of £500 or less.

Theres MD Formulations, Annique, Environ to name just three. There are many more, you just have to call around the skin care companies. Best thing to do is use the skincare directory and call up the ones that appeal to you. Depends if you are after a range for results or a spa range.

Write down what you want from a skin care range and how much you want to spend. Then write down what your clients like and their affordability. Write questions for the skincare companies such as what support they give with PR, POS and ongoing training etc.

The companies will have a retail price list so you can see what you will charge your clients and they also have a list of what each facial in their range costs so you can work out what you will need to charge.

The Thai range is lovely - much nicer than the other Chi range.
Have a look at the Cetuem range. It's gorgeous and not too expensive to start up.
