Hi,

I'm trained in St Tropez manual tanning and have just purchased some Fake Bake. Can anyone tell me if the application is the same?

i.e- St Tropez, you have to work with a relatively thick layer and musn't 'break' any holes in it. I've heard that with Fake Bake you rub it right in, taking care not to leave any lighter or darker patches. Is that right?

hi, ive done exactly the same thing and i found that fake bake are a lot easier to use, i haven't had any patchiness so far and you dont look quite so mud monsterish lol.
I do every thing exactly the same way as i would the st tropez i.e. exfoliation etc then i apply either lotion if they have particulary dry skin or the pomegranate and passion flower spray ( i love the smell ) on elbows knees etc and work in well then i literally apply it like a body cream obviously making sure not to miss any areas but you dont need a thick coat of it, its better to build up the colour so you can tan ontop of the tan i.e. the next day, you get a much better result!
Hth
and enjoy ur fake bake
x
