Hi all..

Just wondered if any of you use the Fake Bake Smoothie Oil before spray tanning on dry patches of skin (i.e knees, elbows etc). I have been using it for over a year and have always loved it but recently I have had two instances where the tan has just not taken at all and left what looks like white splodge marks all over the area I have used it.

Has anyone else experienced this before with this or a similar product? As I said its only happened twice but it's putting me off using it at all now!

Thanks for any replies!

Hi Lorna

I'm a Fake Bake spray tanner and in the beginning had exactly the results you've described.

I soon ditched the smoothie oil and now only use Fake Bake Oil Free Moisturiser on feet, knees and elbows.

For around the bottom of dry-skinned feet, finger and toenails and other contra-areas, I always make sure I've got some thick barrier cream available too (not from Fake Bake).

Thanks for your reply.. think I'm going to ditch that and use something else too! Just don't want to risk it keep happening!
