Do you mean as in acrylic powder?

What have you got? What makes you think it's a 'fake'?

Hi yeah i mean acrylic powder, I have got creative white and I think its a fake as is patchey and shadowy and I have not had this problem before. So is there anyway you can tell? I keep thinking I am not applying it right but untill this pot I have not had this on previous nails but its making me question myself.

Have you had Creative training?

I'm guessing not, as if you had you'd buy your CND products from the same place all CND trained techs do. Sweet Squared or Ellisons.
I'm sorry you've had to learn the hard way, buying professional products from Ebay, is a BIG no no. There has been talk of talc for powders and coloured water for monomer.
If you want to use CND products - and use them correctly, you should contact Sweet Squared and go for a conversion course.
There's no substitute for the right learning with the products you want to use. What if you used a 'product' from an auction site & it burnt the client? Sorry mate - but you need to buy from the right places.
Chuck it out & get some CND training, then you can use the products, with total faith in them and have somewhere to go if they are not performing.

Ooh babes, the best advice is bin it and buy from the correct sources. If you don't really know whats in your products how can you be sure that you are not putting your clients and yourself at risk. Did you do your training with CND? If so give sweet squared a ring as Bev suggested then you can have peace of mind that you are using 100 %professional products.

I normally get my creative products from a suppler or ellisons but the suppliers didn't have any in at the time and ellison would take too long so I got some off ebay I dont normally but was in need and quick, but is there anyway of knowing if the powder has been mixed?

Ellisons will only provide CND products when proof of training from CND has been sent to them.

Where/with whom did you train with your L&P then? Which supplier do you buy your CND products from? Other than those I've mentioned - they are unlikely to be an official supplier. Granted, due to location, I don't know every CND supplier, especially now they have changed since Hyperion days.

Yet again, I'll say it, if you have not had CND training, you cannot, legitimately buy the products for use on the public.
If you are really, truly wanting to be professional, then go for the conversion to CND. Don't buy stuff you have no control over - as you have found out - you have no idea what the heck you've got in the pot!
