Hey girls, I'm pretty new to shellac & could afford every colour to start with but have a collection of about 16, what's everyone's most preferred colours & what's best to layer?
For layering I really like Iced Coral which is not being produced anymore but is available in certain places.
I actually have a video on my top Shellac shades which covers "all angles" which client preferences as I know you have to choose wisely with a limited budget!
I agree with the lovely Karen, Iced Coral is a fab layering colour I also love layering with hot chilis it creates some gorgeous raspberry tones over pinks and is amazing over purple purple, blackpool etc.
As for what colours you need in your collection my most popular colours are
Cream Puff
Blackpool
Pink Bikini
Tutti Frutti
Rock Royalty
Purple Purple
Tropix
Desert Poppy
Lobster Roll
Wildfire
Cerulean Sea
Satin Pyjamas
Nude Knickers
I think a lot of it depends on your client demographic 😄. Most of My clients are older so not really blue and green people so the pinks and reds are always popular, together with the darks in the winter. My personal favourite at the moment is Electric Orange ❤️
Thank you all ladies! On re readin my post I meant I couldn't afford all the shades when I first started! Oops! I think you all got what I meant though! Yeah I have a few that have been mentioned and have punks, reds, dark to black colours but only one dark blue and no greens!
