Hi,
I'm new to this site. Was on a course today and someone told me to post .I currently own a hair and beauty salon in belper, Derbyshire. I also own a personal training/ Boxing business with my partner. Our new venture for this year is holding week long weightloss bootcamps. Basically every month a group of 15 people will join us for a week for army style training which will include early morning runs, hiking, boxing ,circuit training, swimming etc. The days will be totally disaplined, like i said army style training. Food will be basic - Lean protein and steamed veg, plus there will be lessons in weight management. The evenings will be totally different, massage, facials and spa treatments will be available, this will be a time to unwind ready for the next day. Weight loss expected by the end of the week will be upto 14 pounds. Also on the last day after weigh in guests will be able to choose betweem treatments such as, botox, dermal fillers, microdermabraisions, skin peels, teeth whitening plus much more. Accomodation will be at a luxury country retreat and prices will start from £995 per person for the week. I want to make this the ultimate bootcamp where people leave feeling great and looking fantastic
I look forward to reading your replys

Wow that sounds great.
Unfortunately my regime is similar to a certain person in Shameless..I want to lose weight but still want to eat, drink and do no exercise.
Good luck x

I think it sounds fab. Will they be strong enough to have the Botox etc at the end of it though? You don't want them fainting on you. xx

this isnt the one i keep reading about is it?

Jade recently went on one i read today.

Hi,
no its not the JADE one. They are the real basic bootcamps, no treatments. Completely draining.
After the weigh in everyone will have a medical, plus lots of carbs so they should be fit enough for treatments.
xx

I wouldn't pay to put myself through that regime, although I'm sure others would, if I was that fanatical, I'd be out there doing it anyways or join the Army.....

Surely you need to build yourself up to that level of physical training.....I know my body wouldn't cope straight away with the regieme (in a week) you have described, I'm sure it would kill me lol!. And will it give students will power to keep it up....that comes from within, sure?

Good luck though and I'm sure there's loads of people out there who will pay to do it.....and a TV celeb programme to follow!

Sounds fab! If I had a spare £1,000 and a week off, I'd definately do it!

Thing with me is I know I'd put it all back on when I got home and wasn't in 'the zone' anymore!

It does sound good value though... for luxury accomodation and botox! I went on a spa break to Bath for 3 nights with a friend of mine and spent £500 in total, for a very mediocre hotel and only one treatment! No food or drink was included.

I'm certain you'll get plenty of takers! What a great idea! Good luck xx

This sounds like "The Camp" in Scotland. I watched a t.v program about it. If I had the money to spare I would go!

Hello,
we will be giving ongoing support, emailing new exercise downloads, recipes plus they can call us with any problems.
the bootcamps will cater for people at all levels, we are booked up for feb. and everyone who is attending is a newbie to fitness most just need that kick start.

good idea but as cathie said those who have not exercised for a whils would this style not be to dangerous, love the idea and the nd result. Which luxury hotel will u be staying in, i dont live to far from u?

I reckon it sounds fab! a real kick up the arse for anyone wanting to change, but rewarding too as you get the nice treatments, so you feel better and look better by the end of the week.

you guys obviously know what you're doing so I doubt you'd be causing any heart attacks from people doing sudden exercise, so I say go for it, I'd love to go!

It gives me nightmares just reading about it:eek: all that exercise.

Seriously though I think it's a great idea. The beauty treatments would be great motivation to get through the day.

Good luck - I hope it goes really well for you

Hey my hubby is a physical training instructor in the army, part of the PT Corps, he runs his own gym and does fitness plans, takes adventure training etc, he'd be very good at a bootcamp. He doesn't train me as he is too strict and I get mad and tell him off!

I'm a qualified beauty, tanning and massage therapist so if you need any help I am sure we would enjoy doing something like this.

Please get in touch if you want my detials.
