Ive being learning fibreglass nails for about a month now, i am not to bad at tips and blending (although it still takes me a while).
The thing i really struggle with is creating an apex curve =s and i was jus wondering if any one could give me any tips or genral help if possible.

Thanks x

does your system have a thicker gel resin ?
that makes it much easier to build an apex.

In general, wraps are for giving a little extra strength to nails that are already pretty strong ... just like the thin gel systems that you just paint on are really only suitable for nails that are already strong. You need to be able to offer more.

I'm not saying that you can't build an apex using fibreglass, but with a one component resin, it takes time and a few more layers. To build an apex using FG you need a thick resin along with a thin one for speed. Even so, resins are not cross linked, break down quickly, become discoloured and are not nearly as strong as other systems and using only FG will limit you to the number of clients you can satisfy if you offer only the one system.

I would encourage you to go on with your learning and learn L&P as well as gel so that you can be 'all things to all clients'!
