Hi can anyone reccommend what files to use for finishing?

I have heard some people use the electric ones, but i thought these were bad for nails?

Thanks

They are not bad for nails when trained to use them...its untrained users of them that are bad for nails...not the efiles.

Personally i prefer to hand file...and use a 180 and a 240 however i use gel so it might depend on if you use L&P and how much buffing to a high shine you want to do.

Hi I see. I am trained in L&P and about to do my Gel course.

I will continue with my hand held files for now.
Any tips for Gel?
Thank you

True enough! I've had my nails damaged by hand filing. It's all in the training and know how.

Personally, I hand file the same as Bagpuss. :)

Hi, for l&p I use a 180 then a 240 then the girlfriend buffer. For gel, I use the white file for side walls and free edge, then the yellow to use gently over to remove any lumpy bits if any, then use the gel top coat. Im training with Creative and they say you dont buff gel to a shine, you use the top coat xx

Hi all that is great thank you so much. Thank you for the video clip it really helps thanks again xx
