Hi all

I am fairly new to nails - Essential Nails acrylic tip & overlay plus maintenance - on the couple of rebalnces I have done so far it has taken me ages and ages to file old product back to a totally seemless state ready to apply new product. I think I am probably being EXTRA careful with real hands as I don't want to overfile so am guessig this will probably get quicker with time and experience any way..

I have seen and bought some fill line eraser thinking it may help to make rebalances a bit quicker but I don't actually know how it is supposed to be used. Do you still need to file the old product, do you apply it before you file, it looks like polish so am also curious as to how anything will adhere over the top of it if it's a shiny finish??

Sorry if this sounds a bit thick but as there aren't any instructions with it I thought I would call on your knowledge.

I also have one more thing to ask about and that is about a reaction I seem to be having to the filing dust. I have been getting more and more congested as I have been doing nails and now am having regulare sneezing fits and finding myself getting more and more bunged up - has anyone else experienced this? I am wearing a face mask now but it still hasn't cleared up and it's starting to really get me down as I am loosing my sense of taste as well as smell!

Any help, advice, anything, would be gratefully received

Many thanks in advance

These line erasers are not a good idea IMO...all it does it make it "seem" like its gone...when in fact its still there....It is just adhesive and usually yellows and all your lines look worse than when you started

I use a 240 buffer to gently blend that line away....also it helps no end to make sure that that area is thin to begin with....so when you are first applying it make sure its nice and thin and flush to the nail. Doing this will save you work at re balance time.

Thanks for that - think I will keep on filing based on that, I don't want to cause more problems!

Hi Ya
I have been using the NSI line out for 5 years. It has never yellowed or compromised the nail in any way. I love it. You still have to thin the acrylic right down, then you tip the finger so the nail points down and sweep it around the edge of the line.
You still have to do the filing but this is great as back up so you know for sure you're not going to get that line.
I totally recommend it.

When I first learned backfills at my old job my boss had me use 'line out' for a start, just for reassurance really.
I had no problems with this product.

Hi,
I too sometimes use NSI line out........don't need it everytime, and not always on all the nails. I find I need it if they have had a break and lifted & damaged the enhancement before the rebalance.
Best of luck.
Sorry can't help with the congestion problem, as I have never suffered any reaction, you are already wearing a mask, how about a filtration system on your desk to suck the dust away?
Lotsa luv x   x

I looked at line out when I was at the wholesalers and was interested as a back up, is it just an adhesive as its very thin and doesn't smell like one ?
does it contain any sanitizer or dehydrator I'm a bit concerned it might cause a greenie ?

I have line out and use it occasionally I find it effective and non yellowing you will only get yellowing if you haven't filled the product back flush. It doesn't need to contain sanitizer etc as your other prep products scrubfresh/nailfresh if used correctly will do this job for you. You will only get greenies etc from poor prep and cross contamination of products. IMO.

i use NSI line out as well, its a handy item when some stubborn lines wont disappear, but dont use it to hide lifted acrylic, still file as much away as needed.

I haven't used it yet cos I wasn't sure bout it but might give it a go for the stubern lines I cant yet get rid of. I'd like to hear from people who dont like it and why x

the best line eraser is a file, technique and common sense
hello .....i'm back for a minute:)
