Ok so after all these months I am finally mobile and good to go!

One thing though lol I have been doing a lot of tints and have just been getting the client to lie on the sofa, so far no one has complained, I just dont see the point in lugging my massage couch about for something as simple as a tint!

I am now getting a lot of bookings for facials and finding it a hassle with the couch, I am only small and the couch is rather heavy even though it is light weight!

I have considered getting the client to lie on their own bed but feel this is very unprofessionable, what do you guys think??

Cheers

I'm sure you could invest in a lightweight couch. There must be mobile ones that are light and fold easily.

Here's one that I found, but I'm sure there are loads more out there.

Hun, I would stick with the couch myself, I know they aren't lite even the lite ones but, it is more professional. Also you will do a better job in the right position too. You do get used to it.

Yup, it's definitely more professional to use a couch, plus you run more risk of dropping products on the client's furniture if you're using their sofa or bed. And you must have to sit at a really weird angle at the end of a sofa, it can't be good for your back!

Get your self a little trolley with wheels to put the couch on, I know what its like even the lightweight ones weigh a ton when you are small !!!

ive just bought a couch from ebay ordered it on tues and got it today i love it was £70 which i think is a good price its very sturdy and u can get it in black, white or pink

The client's bed or sofa is unprofessional. I did mobile for years and did consider this to begin with but was so pleased I decided against it. If you spilt anything on their sofa or bed your insurance would probably not cover you if they knew you were using this instead of a proper couch. The main consideration though is the height of sofas and beds is not a safe one to work from. You will wreck your back, trust me. You also need a lightweight couch and you need to know how to lift it safely. A trolley is an excellent idea. :)
