Looking for a chair to rent on an ad hoc basis.
How would you ask about it?
I work full time and do extensions part time around this.

Id like to offer in salon if I can but I cannot commit to anything unless im busy.

Any advice would be appreciated

Realistically, I would expect most salon owners to need a regular commitment as they’ve still got bills to pay each week/month.
Also, assuming they initially agreed, you risk losing it at short notice if someone else comes along in a couple of months time with a better offer.

You can try to sublease a chair from independent studio owners( for example Sola studios or etc., they may be called different in your city, but just google it, so you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about) some studio owners only work certain days a week, so you can negotiate, and maybe start with one day per week on a pay per day basis. The price will very, depending on how much the studio owner will want to change you, but you can always negotiate your terms. Good luck!
