Yay had my first client today!! All went well and she seemed happy, asked for some price lists for her friends, lets hope some of them want to book.I only have one other client booked for May  I suppose 2 is better than none.Is everyone quiet at the moment or am I hoping for too much as I have only been advertising for a couple of weeks? How long does it realisticaly take to build up your clients?Any advice would be greatfully recieved, thanks.

Hi Wishes,
I see you have a couch in your front room,is this where you carry out your treatments or do you have a dedicated treatment room?

This is a dedicated room it is not used as a sitting room, that is why I have set up a home beauty room.

Having two clients call and book after only been advertising for two weeks is good I would say, well for my area anyway, it is a very competative industry and has to be worked at, letting people know what you do an where you are in every way shape and form is really important, it will take time, you will get there! Along the same lines as babsann was thinking a dedicated treatment room is much more proffesional, once your clients see this and get great treatments I am sure they will tell their freinds,

I am also a bit confused about treatment room as in photos there is a couch and tv, dvd etc which also led me to believe it was the lounge is this not the treatment room ?

Has your client re-booked? If not did she give a reason?

Exactly what advertising have you done so far, local paper, leaflet drops? I will be honest 2 clients is not great if you have done a big advertising campaign. If you can let us know more details we can help you further :)
