I did my gel conversion yesterday and this is my first attempt at using the sculpting gel on a form.

I have got a little bit of white just behind the smile line in zone 2.. didn't wipe my brush enough :o and I have a few tiny bubbles in the same place.

I have noticed that I have dragged the pink gel over the white and it is a little cloudy on the right hand side of the smile line so I think I will use pink for the lock in layer and then clear builder after. Will this eliminate this do you think?

I have another picture in my album...

What do you gel geeks think?

I think you've done a fab job, well done :D

In the pic you added from your album the sidewall area needs to be smoothed/buffed because it looks as if it's been forgotten, nothing that a quick buff wouldn't sort out.

You're right re adding the clear afterwards, that will also help to fill any dips you might have.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work

Can't add anything to that comment, it really does look good:)

i think you've made a fab nail there hun. yes you are right about using pink for the bonder layer and then clear to build.this is what i did when used nsi radiant pink but then i switched to nsi blush pink and you can use this for both and even pull over the white and it is absolutely fine as its a subtle pink.the cuticle looks a little dry so give them some love by applying some cuticle oil on them
i would be more than happy with a set of these hun and even happier if i had done it,lol.xx
well done

Yes, I can see what you mean about the sidewall.. does look a little unfinished doesn't it.

Can you guys tell me if the rating thing is working...? It says n/a to me but I did choose it

Scratch that.. it's obviously me that is a complete muppett... lol
