I've just received a booking to spray tan a young lady and her boyfriend. I'd initially decided not to do males as I'm mobile and just wasn't comfortable with it. As this is a couple I've decided to go ahead and just wondered if there are any tips you can offer. No idea if he's hairy or not

Also, they are going on holiday the next day and wondered if there was any advice I could give to ensure the tan fades as well as possible, other than moisturise, exfoliation later and avoid swimming pools (guess that one could be a bit tricky :D ). Would hate them to look a bit ropey after a week in swimwear. Thanks very much!

Hiya, i remember been told that when you spray tan a male he needs longer "drying time" due to being hairier ! Hopefully your client is into waxing ;) !!

Sorry to hijack, but I just had to giggle at the thought of this as my ex-husband is very hairy (imagine looks like he's wearing a jumper but really not ) OMG I cannot wait to try and spray tan him after my training LOL

Lol !! Think you will have to invest in a fan for him so :D !!

Men are no different to spray than women really.
If they are particularly hairy then it's easier to spray upwards rather than downwards. So if you are doing the legs, start at the ankles as the air from your gun will separate the hairs, making it easier for the tan to get on the skin.
Alternatively you could go over him after with the air to blow some of the droplets, off his hairs and on to the skin.
That's all the difference really. Oh, and if they are a bit follically challenged on top, just get them to bend their head down and give their head a quick spritz :D

Think I'd better as him to take his jumper off first if he's a bit hairy then :D. Thanks for advice about drying time I have a hot air flow on my equipment so will make sure I utilise it.

Great tips thanks! Great reminder about the head - that could have been a deal breaker - not too may monks in Warrington :D
