First phone call!

As the title says ive just got my first phone call from my leaflet drop yday and i need to tell someone! Ahh im so happy! Posted about 400 & i dont even care if i get another phone call as this has made me happy :biggrin:

The lady called about hair extnsions & i have said that my grand opening is tomo where people can come and have skin tests, check the salon out, have consultations etc... And she is coming!! Yay! Theres alot of old people jn the local streets near me but me & my sister posted leaflets at every house in the hope that they will keep them for their daughters & granddaughters etc

Sorry for the rambling but i need to tell someone as i dont want to bother family & friends that are at work aha xx

Thank you both! I had planned for ages that i would give out leaflets at the local schools this week ( theres 4 within walking distance) and i only realised on thursday last week that the kids are off for 2 weeks on holiday! So i lost out abit there but you live and learn ay! I hope ill get more than 1 person come tomo (im a home salon so wont get people off the street) but if not, it wont bet me down, it'll just drive me to get myself out there even more! Positive thoughts! xx

Thank you everyone for your kind words i am feeling a little (only a smidge) down as ive now been open 4 hours & not even a knock on the door. I know its only the first day and im not expecting every man & his dog are going to turn up but at least 1 will do! Im not giving up tho as ill be waiting till i shut at 7 aha. At least its given me time to catch up on my tele programs will be doing another leaflet drop start of next week so fingers crossed ill get some interest from that (;

Onwards & Upwards! Your lovely posts have brightened up my day! Ahh im so glad i joined Salon Geek after being a lurker for a few years! Hope everyone is having/will have a lovely easter im going to treat myself to a glass of wine xx
