These are my first set of P&W without using the white tips... These are on CND Eclipse curvy tips using CND white and Neutral pink opaque...
My apex is not high enough and I have pulled some of the pink over the white:rolleyes:...
can someone please give me a few tips on getting these looking better.
thanks
Mel

i'm no expert but maybe by straightening the side walls will make them sleeker and less fanned out. maybe shorten the length a little?

the shape of the smile line is good - not too deep but smily to make the nails sleeker.
can see a couple of good lines of light - shows a good even finish
well done for posting

Hiya .. that main thing that jumps out at me is the amount of white/free edge....I think if you reduced this by half, straightened the sides and tapered them in a little (they look a bit hippie) they would look lots better....

Your smiles are very good for your first go....well done x

Thanks girls...
When I try and bring in the side walls I seem to file the product off the sides with it and them there are bare parts... I have gigi's book and have tried to hold the file straight but grrrrrr they just wont come in....

I was always taught to fit a tip from sidewall to sidewall... but they when the product goes on top they look to wide?.. am i doing it wrong.. actually i might start a thread on this... x mel

If you used your file from underneath the sides of the free edge instead of along the sides of the free edge, you would de-bulk them in a heart beat!

Actually, do both. Along the walls first and then from the underneath which will remove any bare bits.

I'll show you when I see you.

These are very nearly 'there' and could be fixed easily by filing. You're very close! x

Thanks for the tips..... i will try the underneath filing and see what happens..
