Flat nail gems?

Can anyone tell me what the silver bits are in this pic please? I've had them requested for a wedding.

They're not flat though? The crystals I have mentioned are raised

Well at first I thought crystals but in the pic they look flat and then I noticed that the small silver bits aren't consistent, which makes me think it's silver nail polish?

I could do it with crystals if needed.

It looks like gems (of different sizes) rather than polish.....

Not sure exactly what they are but the over all look is very bindi looking
