Hi

I purchased some flirties lash adhesive a couple of months ago, opened it but didn't use it until last night.

When I went to use it the adhesive was really thick and gloopy. I tried to warm it in my hands but it was still really thick.

I store it in a beauty case in a cupboard and haven't had problems with any other brand. Any ideas as I know from lots of posts it is a really popular brand? Is it a thicker adhesive anyway?

What is everyone's favourite lash adhesive? The one I normally use is Lash Perfect but really wanted to try Flirties as had heard such good reviews of it - do you think this is just a one-off?

x

i havent had any problems with any flirties lash adhesive so far, they have a shelf life of 9mths, maybe contact collin or britta they wil be able to help more, x

Hi I have tried Marvel lash and that is really globby and Lash Perfect which it watery. Now using Glam Lash Which I like.

HI Lisa,
as kelly said there should be no problem as the adhesive has a shelf life of 9 months but depending on where you stored it its best if you really keep it warm (put it in your trouser pockets for 5 mins and then shake it really well). if you put a drop onto the jade stone it should be an even black "puddle" but if there is any marble effect or clear and black parts then its not shaken enough.
Hope this helps but if there is any problems please feel free to let me know?

I'm mobile and get my clients to hold t in their hand while I'm setting up. Never had a problem with the glue and I've had it since October. HTH

If only I didn't have a day job and I had time to use up all the glue!

Well hopefully one day you can become a beautician full time and then really get stuck in (forgive the pun LOL )

We had exactly the same problem recently and ended up binning it - it had been correctly stored! Was not very impressed really. My bt could not use it at all. We switched brand.

Collin - are you not from the company who supplies it - thought you may have been a little more helpful here!

This sounds rather strange because with all the adhesives we have sold and sent out we have not had one single complaint!
The shelf life is 9 months and we are using the adhesive in our own treatments and training and had never had any problem. As mentioned before it does need to be at room temperature and properly shaken

I think the questions have been more than adequatly answered by other peeps as well as of course wowbb who represents the company more than adequatley :wink2::hug:

strange - coincidence - unusual - maybe, but what I do know is that it WAS correctly stored and WAS totally unworkable after 2 months. Seriously. There was nothing that could be done to salvage said glue! So from our experience we switched brands. Just thought it interesting that another poster had exactly the same experience.

hey

I use flirties adhesive and think its been great and Ive had it nearly 6 months. I have two bottles opened at the same time and there was one day that one wasnt quite as good as normally i but then next time I tried it it was fine. I think its a great glue and clients love it as there is no fumes but I would now like to look for something a little faster setting.

Is it true flirties are bringing out a faster setting glue?xx

Hi Allie,

yes whilst the adhesive we are using is odour and fume free and perfect for anyone new to lash extensions we are testing various formulations to be able to offer the more experienced therapists an adhesive that is quicker setting but with the same qualities and safety as teh existing adhesive. We are getting very close to formulating this one and it should be available in a couple of weeks :O)))

It must just be the weather in Korea.

haha....looks like you are muddled as none of the peeps or adhesives are in Korea? LOL

Looks like you missed the word "MADE IN" out you text.

Never mind, being new to the lash business (compared to others) I expect you to get some inconsistency. none is perfect.

To help you Su, we have been experienced in lashes and application of extensions for some years and not had any inconsistencies. To be honest you have lost me with your comment about Korea because our adhesive is certainly not made in Korea.....Hopefully this clarifies the situation and helps you to understand?

I'm not a lash extension expert..... i'm now considering training. But i was just interested..... did any of the people who had problems with the glue contact the company to ask advice?? This would have been the first thing i would have done if it was a nail product!! It may be that you could have got advice on storage or even a replacement if it seems that you had a faulty product.

Yes, that would have been the best way for everyone involved, but sadly we didnt know and / or couldnt help till it was posted here....
Maybe this is a good point for everyone to consider contacting your supplier or trainer with any problems or queries you have as they will be able to help?
