I have had a client come to me from another salon...
OMG file lines galore and yellow... thought they were from NNS but no... a tech who is booked out and has been working in a salon for 8 years!!!! what the hell is wrong with me I ask you..... (rant, sorry)

Anyway she was so shocked that i filed the lifting away and rebalanced the shape.. the other tech just filled over the top!!!!

She now wants they to look that "nice and pink" all over so she has asked for a soak off and new NNO...
What do you charge for a soak off?
I have not done one yet.... most of my clients just disappear into nail heaven if they decide to take their nails off.... of course telling them that they need to be taken off prof goes in one ear and out the other..

thanks

depends. what I'd do (but I do a client per hour, so that's why) I'd book her and another person (of course telling the first one...) and I'd let her reading magazines while I'm doing someone else's nail. no money "lost", and the next hour you take her. and you charge, ie, a full set...(maybe plus £5 for the remover but I wouldn't do that)

I charge an extra £10 on top of the full set price when doing a removal first hth

Ok thanks .. I have booked her like Doorie said for the previous hour and then I will do her new set .. ok so that is about $10 aus dollars i think.. sound about right.
thanks ladies

I charge only $10 (AUS) to remove nails if they having a repalcement and only $20 for a removal with a mini mani if they are not being replaced.

I dont actually charge for soak off's as long as the client has a fresh set reapplied straight away. Works well for me with practically no extra cost as client can be soaking off while having a brew and reading a mag and I can be working on another client. However, I charge £10 for soak off and conditioning if not reapplying straight away. I am the only salon locally who offers this service as all the others charge £10 even with reapplication. I cannot begin to tell you how many new clients I am getting :green: plus I get their repeat business for other treatments too!

I charge £6 if having a new set or £10 if just having them took off.
