Is cool blue and scrub fresh important to use or can you use another product is scrub fresh a sanitizer what is cool blue.

I Sorry i try use search but spicy give me bad headache 2nite and can not think straight but i want know .

Thank you Mui from Thailand

Mui - hang tight, I will answer this the moment I have a second!!

Use mainly the Velocity tips as they are fast blending and have a very dramatic C curve for perfect fit.

I use the pro styler brush and never had any problems with it, however I once used the pro styler master series brush and found it a lot better to use. A bit more expenses but well worth the money the heads are interchangeable and replaceable

GELBOND:
A gap-filling gel adhesive with a 10-second set time for precise tip placement. Moisture resistant and non-yellowing.
COOL BLUE:
A refreshing hand sanitizer that kills pathogens and leaves hands feeling soft.
Also helps stop the spread of colds and flu.

Creative is the only product I use, so can’t say what any others are like.
PREP is very important with any nail enhancements and I would never change they way I was trained. So yes Scrub Fresh and cool Blue are very important.

Hi Mui,

the clients don't choose the tips, I use the tip which suits their nail shape. Formation is generally a good for most people tip, Eclipse is good if they have deep sidewalls - they are probably the ones I use most of.

I use the Pro Styler Master series brush and find it is very good.

Speed bond is a very fast setting liquid adhesive and gel bond has been mentioned.

Cool Blue is a gel hand cleanser whereas ScrubFresh is a nail prep for dehydrating the nails prior to product application.

You can use other products for sanitising, adhering and dehydrating but you will only get the best out of your products if you stick within the same product range.

Thank you both - I never had time to get back to Mui earlier today - Fee thanks for getting in the 'tip thing' about clients not choosing - it is so important to remember that WE are the ones prescribing the correct treatment to the client - NOT the other way around!!! Thanks again :)

Sawasdee ka this is not strong post i speak soft :) .

I think if some body is going to be a Creative nail tech only do 1 product and specailise in pink and white is ok they can have the clients that want them .

For buisness i worry about this a little bit for future because we have 3 thai girls come same day ask us if we can do 3 d acrylic ezflow there is a salon in lotus can do we speak can not and no have ezflow we did not service any of them customer with pink and white .

Now we have and practice .

I beleive to be full service nail tech is not only to offer services l&p gel fabric silk but to offer different products with different style of nail enhancement .

For my friend geeg who i never want to make unhappy Yes pink and white is classic but the girls realy like the ezflow boogie night nails and 3 d design so to specialise in pink and white would be very stupid in my country .

When more salons start to do in your country maybe some of the pink and white customers will want you to do for them if you can not they will go another salon why not learn now .

If i open salon doing pink and white creative and a salon does pink and white creative and ezflow pink and white and 3 d designs and lots more what salon you think will be busy .

I want to specialise in 3 best products and to be offer what the customer wants not only what i think is good the customer do have a choice what they have on there hands they have what they like .

I do not want to limit my education to 1 company or 1 product the nail buissness is moving forward fast and will all the time and i do not ever want to be left behind and hungry .

Customer have choice of nails she want and to offer all services in more then 1 product open up a whole world of clients you can service to specialise in pink and white in my country any way will not work .

Mui,

I do understand and agree with what you say about offering more than just pink and white, but there are very successful techs doing 3-d nail art using lots of products including Creative. Also there are lots of similar products to Boogie Nights - Nail Graphix is one which you mix with whatever product you use - ie. Creative Pink.

It is about finding out what you can do with your chosen product line rather than saying Creative is only for pink and white - EZ Flow is for 3-d and glitters etc.

Hope this helps a bit.

I totally see where Mui is coming from here!! I also understand and appreciate Fiona's comments too - at the end of the day, you can do 3D out of any acrylic line, it depends on how good you are!! I guess what we need to remember here, is that different companies try to have their own 'niche' if you like - with CND it has always been to do THE BEST and most natural beautiful pink and white nail enhancements; OPI concentrate on polish;EZFlow carved out a niche with coloured powders and used many times champion Tom Holcombe to market these powders and HIS way of producing beautiful and consistent 3D art, coloured patternes etc every time!! That has been EZFlows trade mark.

I have always been a staunch believer that there is not one thing that CND can not offer to their customers - however I also appreciate that people like different things so if using CND L+P for enhancements and EZ for nail art / permanent art - I can understand that; again though, I will say that I do not feel our public are educated enough to come into a salon and ask for 'this product or that' - what they want is beautiful nails; some do know the difference between systems but it is just up to us to persuade and educate them to which system would suit them best!!!

I hope this hasn't been too long winded and that it makes some kind of sense!!
