Hi guys :)

I'm off to do my Foundation CND course in Sussex tomorrow :green: and have tried to have no expectations at all (except it'll be hard work, fab and soooooo worth it!)

I wonder what, if any, expectations you had before your course (CND or other foundation) and did the course meet those expectations?

Many thanks and I look forward to all your replies :green:

:hug:

Well, I may not be typical as I was 50 when I did my foundation course (also at Crawley)

I was nervous of being regarded as an old bat but although I was the oldest in the class I was made to feel very welcome and Denise is a wonderful teacher.

I'm sure you will enjoy it and although it is hard work, if you have any problems Denise is very approachable and friendly

Enjoy yourself:lol::lol::lol:

Thanks Adele :)

I'm sure I will have some problems, I'd be silly to think I will breeze through it! I'll be sure to say hello to Denise for you :green:

xx

I had no expectations as i knew nothing about nails other than i wanted to learn how to do them,
(i am lucky as i have always had good nails)
i had never even had my nails done or ever been in a nail or beauty salon,
in a big way i think this was an advantage as i soaked every bit of knowledge up without questioning things like the others in the class did hth

Thanks Loubylou, I think that,s probably a better way of doing it, strange though how you 'knew' even though you'd never had your nails done! Must be a 6th sense, lol! I knew I wanted to do them when I first had my nails done for a Christmas do 2 years ago. I knew I could do it and was absolutely fascinated by the way she transformed my nails.

Well, I'm on the train right now on my way to crawley. It's great being able to mobile Geek (although I should be reading Nailclass really!) and it's so hard not to txt talk when you're replying to a post!

Wish me luck :)
