hi guys,

ive got a client in the last month has started to snap or chip her free edge of in a diagonal line so shes left with a triangle sharp bit of nail.

one of my gel ladies and one other acrylic lady has done the same but the openly admitted they banged it while doing the house work.

is there anything else that can cause this my end? dont want to try be polite, and say its her being heavy handed if there is a possibilty its something i may have done.

xthanksx

This happens to me when I have acrylics on and it is just cause Im so heavy handed!!

I find clients like this are more suited to a round/oval/almond shaped free edge, it usually happens with sqaure nails I find. I know it's important to keep the free edge thin, but with a square I try and make them ever so slighty thicker at the sides i.e. close to the lower arch iykwim, I find that helps too.
