I've been on the complementary care for cancer patients course down in Felindre Cancer Centre. I was going to volunteer in a hospice but nothing around here.
What I want to do is set up a free day clinic, one day a month where anyone who is undergoing cancer treatment can come in and ill do any treatment they want free of charge.
I already volunteer with Look Good Feel Better but I want to go further, and I would like to do it in my salon so they feel like anyone else coming in to have beauty treatments.
My question is, what should I call it?? And does anyone else do this? How do you advertise it etc? And do you have to tell your insurance company?
Any guidance would be much appreciated as want to get this up and running asap as nothing round here at all!
