Hi ladies.

I recently qualified a short course on L&P, Gel and fabric systems. It was application based rather than product specific.

I have a client who has very nice natural nails but wanted some strength. I suggested and carried out a silk wrap on her and she is very pleased. However she likes a French fnish and has previously had L&P just to obtain the pink and white she likes so much.
As she really does have lovely nails and her nails had previously been damaged by L&P systems I thought the fabric a better bet. BUT what can i use to create a longer lasting french finish for her.
I have heard of gel paint on systems like a polish but i dont really know anything about them.

Can you girls shed some light for me?

Many thanks

Can i firstly point out that L&P does not damage the natural nail, any damage caused to the natural is from abuse/lack of after care from the client or from the nail tech doing a bad job,
also all nail systems L&P, gel, wraps are all acrylic based so one system is not kinder than the other,
you can paint over the wrap system with regular nail enamel to create the french finish hth
