Hi Geeks

I have been asked to do a french polish on a bride 2 days before the wedding....

Now im worried that in 2 days this french will not be looking its best....

I advised either the day before or on the morning of the wedding.....But no 2 days before will be fine she said.....Hmmmm

Should I advise her to topcoat every day to prevent any chipping??????

I would have rather her had something a little more permenant...

What do you think???

It should last ok, just depends on how hard she is with her nails.
I would just do a base coat, 2 coats of polish and a top coat, making sure i'm coating the edge of the nail too ( does that make sense?)

And also explain to her that would have liked to do this closer to the day, but if this is not possible and she still wants to go ahead then go for it.

Shes adamant that its 2 days before....her rehersal is the night before ! lol

To be honest i would expect any painted manicure to last at least a week.....2 days shouldn't be a problem at all when using good products.

Well the polish lasts 2 weeks ,,,,,its just the french im worried about, they always knock a french more for some reason.......

Prob me just paniking because its a bride & theres 2 days to go .... Im sure it willbe fine

Hi Anne

Do your basecoat, then your white tip, then 2 coats pink, followed by a decent top coat and it should be fine. I fnd doing your whites like this keeps them on for a good 2 weeks.
