are these suitable for combination skin?

Hi Fuschia!

I think the answer to your question depends on the pariculars of the fruit acid you'd be using. I know that the main used one is glycolic acid, and then there's also salycilic acid as well. I trained in skinceuticals with these products, and at that point was told that the glycolic acid could be used on normal/combination skin, you just amend your application time according to the skin type.

Is it a particular brand you have in mind, or a particular type of acid?

The fruit acid peels i work with (AHA & BHA) are suitable for most skin types but not sensitive. Like minipig said, it depends on the strength of the peel, the manufacturer or your supplier should be able to explain to you what skin types that specific peel works best on.
