Full head hair extensions, how many grams?

We use between 125-200 strands for a full head. It does depend on the thickness of the natural hair. If you use 0.8g per strand, you should need between 100-160 grams.

what type of extensions are you doing? weave? nano rings? micro?
Hey, thanks! micro rings for this client, her hair is quite thin but it quite blunt at the ends as well, is 1gram bonds a complete no no with thin hair or can I use these if I put enough hair in the bond ? X

I did a client with quite fine hair to the bottom of her neck, i used transform 0.9g nanos and got 140 of them, i could have probably fit 160 in, but 140 was fine. x

It really does depend on the thickness of the clients own hair. We always discuss this during the consultation. A full head for someone with thick hair can be over 200 strands while for thin hair it can be 100 strands. We always price accordingly though and they just pay for what they need. It helps to have hair in stock as then you can just add if needed. I cant say how many times that has been the case that when you realize you need more in the end than you thought.
