I've just done my first full leg wax, I've done plenty of half legs but never a full leg until today. How long should it take. It took me about and hour! I was losing the will to live! She was a larger lady, but surely it shouldn't take an hour. What's the average time out there??? So I know what I should be aiming for! :o

It does make all the difference if they are are large and maybe have shaved recently. People may argue may that's a fact. However, we can't start weighing them as they walk in LOL, so allow an hour the first time if you can spare it, then make a note for future appointments.

I allow 30 to 40 mins and if I finish sooner, I just use that time to make calls etc.

If your client is slim and hasn't shaved, it could take you 20 - 25 mins. Legs are the most difficult to predict. xx

Yes I agree with Kim, give yourself 45-1hour the first visit then take it from there for future appointments, I have different times for various clients, also depends how hairy they are ha ha...! :D

Ok, that makes me feel a little better. She is a regular waxer so she wasn't particularly hairy. I just felt like it took forever. I used the cristal ocean, and although it goes on like a dream, I struggle to see the residue. I do apply oil afterwards and remove what I can, I think I'm done and then the light hits a spot I've missed.

I'm thinking of switching to the white PR wax so I can see better. Kim have you used that one. I know you love the cristal ocean but wondered if you've tried any of the other PR waxes?

Hun I would stick to cristal ocean for a strip wax it is far the best for legs.
When I get near the top of the leg or tricky areas I switch between cristal ocean and a stripless wax something like Euroblonde this helps me out a lot.

I have clients that I book in for an hour as I know it is going to be harder to do others 40 mins each client will be different.

Why not give Berins Ease a try, very little residue left and if there is any you can see it.
