Hi,

Having real problems getting my timings down with applying full set of gel enhancements.

Was advised by my trainer that it should take 2 - 2 1/2hrs but everywhere I go and people I ask say thats way to long, should be in an out in an 1 - 1 1/2hrs.

From start to finish preparing the nail, applying the tips and gel I cant see how it is possible to do it any quicker than I have been which is roughly 2 1/2 hrs.

Its starting to get me down now as I think perhaps I am trying to hard. My worry is that if I do start this a profession I would only be able to fit in about 2 clients a day

Any suggestions!!!!!

Perhaps the gel is just to fiddly, thinking about trying Acrylics next

IMO opinion your timings will come down with practise hun i still take 1rh 45 - 2hrs to do a full set and im newly qualified so just stick with it and practise practise:green:

you wont always take that long, eventually you will get your timing down to somewhere between an hour and an hour and a half. but you probably wont until you do nils on a more regular basis and it starts to become second nature.

most beginners take at least 2-3 hours to do there first few sets, best thing you can do is practise practise practise practise till you got your timing down to 1hr/1 hr 30 mins

it does take time....dont worry you will speed up the more you practice....

Once you are more experienced and have more confidence you will find that you don't keep going back to the same but double checking everything ... you will just know its done and its right....then you will notice a difference in your speed.

I used to go over bits that i had already done....pick my file up...put it down...pick it up again...this all adds time.
