Help! I have a lady coming in this week who wants some repairs and some infills - they are apparently gel soak off but I have no idea what type. I currently use ibd soak off and nobility - can I use either of these over the top of what ever she has on? Nightmare.

Hiyah

Personally I do not touch another techs work, so I would recommend that you soak off and apply again

If they look to be in good shape, I wouldn't soak off.
Just rebalance them. Why waste gel if there's no need? Why dry out client's skin out? Why take longer than needed? etc...

If they DO look a ratty mess, you have no way of knowing if the lift is due to the client or the tech's poor work. In that case, soak off and start again.
Consult with the client about the former tech's procedures (prep???) etc, and determine your course of action then.

The only reason you may have problems with going over another product could be colour difference.

As Vhunter says, there's no need to start again unless the nails look pants.

Just have confidence in yourself and do what your head tells you to do when she arrives.
