Guitarists playing steel stringed guitar with nails use gel to make their nails stronger. I have many friends who does this, and they last for 1-2 months plus no problem. I have now tried it three times, and every time I have had them chipping at the front of the nail. Why? They start lifting after 5 days. What is the nail techs doing wrong? I would go where my friends go, but it’s too far.
Tried builders gel with top coat, without top coat, thick, thin and I have tried dip powder. The dip powder didn’t chip in the front, but cracked everywhere due to being too stiff.
