Hi there i have a client who wants me to put gel on her toes i have never done this before only trained on finger nails is it the same as on finger nails? if not any tips please.:cry:

Make sure you prep well or the polish will come off also hun as said above its the same but without the build up hun.x

my tip would be to do a very thorough prep, there is usually much more cuticle build up on toes than there is on figernails. no need to build a stress area. you might find the glitter toes tutorial on my website of help.

I am doing the gel on toes last 4 years. so thats the way how i am doing
Push the cuticle first, file the nails to nice shape and buff them on top (make sure all nail bed is not shiney).
Then paint the french with white nail vanish (put under the light - lamp), then put one coat of gel (under the light ), then put second coat of gel (under light), use the gel wipe off (alcohol) and thats it.

i do thorough prep , like susan said there is usually a lot more non livingtissue on the nail plate
then i apply liquid bond( i use brisa gel)
then i apply paint on white with a dotting tool, and lock two toes for 10 secs each
then apply thin coat of clear or pink sculpting gel
cure for 2 mins
then apply brisa top gloss cure for two mins
bingo!

Hi,
Ive just completed my gel,nail art and mani & pedi courses and have my gel toes exam at the end of this month, I think gel toes is a seperate course....????
If gel toes is covered by doing my pedi and gel course, I would be very grateful is someone could let me know, as I dont want to have to pay for another course if Ive already covered it....!!!

If you have a pedi qualification and a gel qualification I am sure this is sufficient.
