Gel peeling at Free Edge

Hey could you tell me what Im doing wrong. Use Brisa gel. Gel is chipping or peeling away at free edge. Just wondering if this is down to prep. After applying tip and shaping, I use brisa bond on the nail plate but should I be really roughing up plastic tip.

Also the first layer of gel when techs say scrub this in, could you explain?

are you capping your free edge this could be the problem?

You need to etch the surface of the tip.
scrubbing the first layer in is exactly that you apply a thine even coat but really work it into the nail before curing.
Make sure with every layer you cap the fe and the sides if you find the products shrinks too much do 2 fingers then flash cure and carry on with the other fingers and cure all 4 for 2 mins.
When finishing make sure that you do not file the cap off or you will get lifting.
Have a look back through your workbook that you got with the Brisa kit if you are unsure.

Thank you for your answers I think thats what Im doing filing the free edge . Ive tend to treat gel like arcylic.
