hi, i have been working with nails now for a long while but something very strange happened the other night !!! i decided to do my nails (for a change!) i soaked of the akzentz i use instead of infilling, i did the usual prep etc, finished nails looked fine soon after i had a hot bath and a short while later 2 nno's just peeled off ! i have never ever experianced this before, hot baths baths and freshly done gel nno's any connection ?

I wouldn't have thought there would have been a connection with the hot bath and the gel peeling off.

Did you cap the NNO's enough?
Are you positive they were cured properly?
Do your bulbs need changing?
Are you using the correct UV lamp for the gel?

Had client this week who says all her gel toes (akzents) have just peeld off, the first after one day and all the rest after 4 days !!!!! Never had a problem before with this, and mine stayed on fine and so did daughters. Have been trying to think if I did anything different.

Did you apply the gel straight after the soak off? maybe it would have been better to soak off then bath and apply gel the next day to make sure there was not acetone left in the natural nail. Some gels do not like being applied straight after a soak off. HTHs

I would have thought that the acetone evaporates off so quickly it wouldnt matter. In fact i would have thought that the acetone would help the dehydration process, giving you a better surface to work on?
