Gel polish advice

Hi all,advice on gel polish,I have been using Orly gel fx gel polish for a while now but can still sometimes have problems with nails chipping after a couple of days? I follow all there steps and use all there products and machine. Where am I going wrong? Is there a better primer out there I could use and would it do any harm? I also find naughty is a really difficult colour to use (very watery needs 4 coats) and Lola disappears from the free edge! I would be most grateful for some help as I'm getting very disheartened with this brand?

I have found that Orly primer doesn't last long!!! Change your primer frequently. On my nails now, I only clean and dehydrate nails, then go on with normal procedure omitting primer. Works great!!!
