Every time I get a gel polish it lifts on the ring finger on the right hand, within hours of getting it done. (Luckly it isn't the ring finger of my left hand because I'm newly engaged [emoji87])

I've been to different nail technicians as well as myself and have had different brands used each time yet it always lifts!

Does anyone have any ideas why this happens? My nail doesn't feel oily but I'm guessing that might be the problem?

Congrats on your engagement!

Is there something different about the shape or thickness of that nail? Or do you do something with that finger ie dip it in a pot of anti ageing or eye cream or use it for your PIN number in shops?

You wouldn't get one oily nail, you'd get ten :). It's pretty rare anyway.

Check it's not that youre rubbing your thumb over it out of habit between prep and application as well. X

Is this nail damaged from the shellac continuously coming off?

Shellac does not adhere well to damaged nails.
