Gel polish

Hi all I'm new to this site ☺ I'm a training nail tech and currently using cnd shellac (which I like) I'm just wondering what others prefer? I've had a few people (not clients) say why don't you use gelish why do you use that gelish is better..so I'm just wondering if it is and if it's worth splashing out? Tia x
