Hi,

i am new to the forum, and indeed gel nails, i was hoping for some advice on gel products. I wanted to try calgel or biosulpture but i am in Northern Ireland and having grest difficulty getting a distributor to get in contact with me. I am supposed to be opening a nail bar on the 1st dec but have only been able to get hold of mercia products but do not want to use them
Also are IBD products any use?

any help much appreciated,
Lealei

ibd are a well respected brand of good quality.
bio and calgel will only let you buy their gels if you do their training course. this could be a 1 day plus assesment if you are already a qualified technician. hard pressed to get anything organised by december though.

Bio have a new office in Newtownabbey, they seem really friendly as I am going for training with them soon

Thanks Susan! Getting to a training course is difficult yea. Lol. Thanks for the advice. Ive also seen Akzentz products and seen them recommended on here would you reccomend the any ideas which is better?

yes, ive used akzentz. its a very good range.

i personally use the range of gels from lechat. they have a soak off product that is very similar to biosculpture, but i find it a bit stronger, not to mention a lot less pricey !
additionally they have file off gels, colours and special effects, the powdergel range and a range of acrylics.
you can viw the range at www.lechtnails.co.uk and i have some examples and tutorials you can see on my sites[below]

Cheers susan, is lechat suitable for tips aswell?
