Gel soak off

Hi All, newbie here and am in need of some help. New client coming in today with a set of gel nails (or at least that what she thinks she has). I provide soak of gel nails and am wondering what the difference is between soak off gels and basic gels. How can I tell which one she has:smack:

File one...if it has a slightly rubbery feel under your file then its soak off.....this isn't 100% the case with ALL soak off though. So to be 100% sure i would file off the shine on 1 nail...then place a cotton pad with remover on and wrap in foil......then start to file the shine off all the other nails....by the time you have done this the one wrapped should (if its a soak off) started to dissolve....if it hasn't then its a buff off gel and you will have to file it all off.
