Went on a gel toes course last year and was never taught how to remove them and haven't done any since the course, i usually use acrylic on hands, can anyone help me out with the procedure.

Depends on whether you are using a soak off or buff off gel?!?
If soak off then I would use the cotton wool and tin foil method, buff off.....the gel should be thin enough to buff down leaving a thin layer of gel to grow out with the toenail!
