Gel topcoat on acrylics?

iv jst been watchin a video on applying acrylics as im thinking of training in it, and at the end she finished but putting on a clear gel topcoat on top and curing.................this may be a daft question but is this what u normally would do? x

You can either buff to a shine or use UV topcoat, or both! There are pros and cons of each, so usually the decision is up to the professional or the client.

Have a search and I'm sure you'll find lots of information and opinions, you may want to search separately for UV Topcoat and buffing though.
